Mid-Senior UX Designer

The client

This agency help businesses realise their potential by reimagining customer experiences. Their design team make this happen by framing problems and delivering innovative design solutions.

This is a hands-on role where you will be working directly with clients and collaborating with other designers and developers to create intuitive and user friendly digital products.

They have an active, fast paced studio, working on a variety of projects for different brands. Delivering everything from websites, portals, apps to conversational interfaces.

These guys are also big on Mentorship / Training / Flexibility / Social life

The role

  • Discovery & problem framing. You will play an active role in helping them conduct customer research and run stakeholder workshops to ensure they solve the right problems.
  • Digital transformation. You will be working on large projects, as part of a cross disciplinary team, responsible for UX throughout the whole delivery process.
  • Innovation sprints. Expect to find yourself working as part of a innovation sprint team. Think tight deadlines, working directly with the client to prototype and testing new ideas at speed.
  • Optimisation. You will work with their data and analytics teams to identify opportunities to improve conversion rates and engagement.
  • You will also need to be comfortable presenting to clients, mentoring juniors and being an advocate for what great design is within the agency.

The candidate

Looking for a Senior UX Designer or a Middle-weight looking to make the jump up.

You’ll be expected to have a decent amount of prior experience as a UX Designer and a nice portfolio to prove it. This really is aimed at more of a pure UX Designer rather than a UI Designer with some UX capabilities.

All the usual skills and deliverables will be expected within your experience and capability, from research and testing through to prototyping and wireframing.

They’re not too fussed about what software you like to use most, but if they had to choose it would probably be Sketch.

You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing with stakeholders as well as taking part in pitches.
