Established start-up who focus on AI-based software

A human-assisted AI platform that helps anyone build, run & scale bespoke software.

The client

This AI-based platform allows for bespoke Software and/or apps to be created and used by businesses worldwide. They are a start-up that has scaled up hugely in 5+ years and offer their staff some great benefits on top of a very supportive culture and a breeding ground for innovation and tech.

They have offices in the UK, America and India. Their HQ is in London and will eventually expect staff to come in approximately 2 days per week.

It’s a place where everything moves at pace and not for the faint hearted. They celebrate diversity, push everyone to do more with less and yet provide a culture that allows everyone to experiment, push boundaries and learn by doing.

Everyone there runs to their core value system of HEARTT (Heart, Entrepreneurship, Accountability, Respect, Trust & Transparency) and always looking for team players, with a point of view, a sense of humility and a let’s-get-stuff-done attitude.

Sorry, no sponsorship is being offered at this time.

The role

You’d be part of the Experimentation/CRO aka Growth team – all to do with things like growing leads, increasing their customer base, conversion rates etc. Separate to the internal design team (approx. 5-6 people) but will still collaborate with them, whilst reporting to the Head of CRO instead of the Head of Design.

The Experimentation team is relatively new, and so they are looking for a creative design thinker to help build experiences that will change a major industry. Their ideal candidate will understand product specifications, whilst maintaining a genuine interest in user psychology. The Experimentation team is a fast-paced environment, and there will be lots to do. Plus, experimentation means you’ll get to understand the real impact of your designs on their users, as well as the bottom-line.

Some other key responsibilities include;

  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Optimisation Consultants/CRO.
  • Translate requirements/briefs into engaging, interactive and customer-centric experiences
  • Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps.
  • Create wireframes, user flows, sitemaps, user research, personae creation.
  • Iterative prototyping and usability testing with users.
  • Executing interaction design and visual design as a part of a multi disciplinary team.

The candidate

  • Previous experience as a Product/UX Designer.
  • Ability to create user flows, prototypes and wireframes.
  • An excellent sense of typography, layout and general design principles.
  • Knowledge and experience of user research and usability testing.
  • Confident using Figma ideally (but not a deal-breaker).
  • Experience with user interface design patterns and standard UCD methodologies.
  • Strong communication & presentation skills (written, oral and visual).
