We are working with a well know finance app who help people to use their money wiser by bringing saving, investing, home-buying, and retirement services together into one simple app.

The client

After initially launching back in 2016, the company has grown quite considerably and are currently sitting around 350 employees and achieved series D funding, so are in a great place.

Also this year, they hit an incredible 1 million customers!

The role

In the role, you’ll own the UI and Visual design for the company, to help evolve the brand and take them to the next step in their digital offering and experience.

As the product is a customer based mobile app, you’ll need to have B2C and Mobile app experiences previously.

As well as this you’ll also be managing a team of 2-3 people so previous experience in managing is also going to be key.

There are 2 other leads within the team who are more UX focused and a total of around 10 people, with plans to grow in the future.

The candidate

About you

A driven designer with relevant experience in UI Design, both hands on and working conceptually.
Confident to explore new creative approaches where necessary, and high attention to detail on consistency where not.
Solid understanding and demonstration of UI design principles, with mastery in design tools, methodologies, processes, best practices, and key deliverables.
Someone who leads by example, with relevant management experience with direct reports under your guidance.
Ability to distil requirements, providing clear guidance to designers, defining the task, goals and outcomes as well as supporting and providing clear feedback.
You thrive in a fast paced environment where you can use lightweight processes, creative ideas and quick iteration to have a huge impact.
