My client is one of the leading and most respected Universities in the world who is undergoing a huge internal and external project to transform their entire web estate through digital transformation.
My client has always had a -well-established digital presence, however over the last few years they’ve begun the foundations of a huge digital transformation with the user at the heart of everything they do. They currently have a Product & Service team but realised to create the best web experience they need to set up their very own internal web agency to look after the University itself.
Currently, the web estate consists of over 3200 websites & 4000 web pages which need to be dramatically reduced with consistency and the best User Experience across them.
This role will help the University evolve to meet the needs of the client and the future needs of the University. You will work with the university’s stakeholders from educational departments to separate institutions within the University to help establish a coherent and consistent web presence.
As Senior Account Manager / Client Service Manager you will work closely with the Product Team, consisting of Delivery Managers, Content Managers Product Managers, Product Designers, and User researchers to achieve this.
Your clients will be the departments and institutions of the University and projects will vary from the creation of a new intranet to help remove unnecessary content from the public-facing websites to new department websites.
They have buy-in from the top and the right leadership in place to make this happen. Starting on a small scale they want to show the value they can bring and then expand out to the whole University as they know they can’t tackle all problems at once.
You will be an Account Manager from a digital agency background with extensive web experience.
Experience managing and dealing with multiple stakeholders at all levels and varying digital knowledge will be useful.
The University environment is challenging and complex so the ability to navigate around this and build key relationships within this will be important.
