The client
My client is a leading provider of SaaS products that help businesses visualize their data, enabling users to view key metrics on a single platform. Their goal is to transform how businesses engage with their data through innovative and visually appealing designs.
Position Overview:
They are seeking a talented Web Designer to join the team at a mid-senior level. As the sole designer in the company, you will have significant creative freedom and the opportunity to shape the visual direction of the products. This role is ideal for someone who is comfortable working independently and can hit the ground running.
The role
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain visually appealing designs for the SaaS product.
- Transform and enhance the website to engage users and evaluate design effectiveness.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and alignment with business goals.
- Focus on the context, purpose, and function of design elements to improve user experience.
The candidate
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a web designer, preferably in a software or B2B environment.
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creative projects.
- Ability to work independently as the sole designer in the company.
- Excellent understanding of visual design principles and minimal coding requirements.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Any HTML / CSS experience and anything that uses templating would be useful. Github would also help.
Interview Process:
- Initial screening chat
- Presentation and final interview with Tom and a member of the marketing team.
Additional Information:
- This is a remote position with visting the office once or twice a month; however, candidates must be based in the UK.
- We offer the possibility of a four-day work week also
