With the automotive landscape undergoing a seismic shift, our client is spearheading innovation in the industry by harnessing the power of connected car data. As a Product Owner, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping their trajectory, contributing to the success of their cutting-edge projects.

The role

What will I be doing?

As a Product Owner, you’ll be at the forefront of managing specific propositions as part of their product roadmap. Owning end-to-end execution, ensuring alignment with customer and business needs. They’re all about omnichannel experiences, so overseeing both online and offline facets is a key part of this role. This is also a chance to fully immerse yourself in innovation and creativity, their environment encourages hands-on involvement so get ready for a career where you’re always ahead of the curve.

Key Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of specific backlog items, ensuring alignment with program priorities and maintaining a forward-looking backlog.
  • Collaborate with UX teams to craft superior customer experiences, validating key developments through rigorous usability testing.
  • Evaluate and prioritise business/development requests, refining user stories and acceptance criteria in collaboration with the scrum team.
  • Be the custodian of specific KPIs, providing regular updates to stakeholders on performance tracking.
  • Lead the development and sign-off of stories for release, facilitating release planning sessions with stakeholders.
  • Act as a liaison between business objectives, technological capabilities, and offline fulfilment channels, supporting Business Analysis tasks as needed.

The candidate

Requirements

  • Demonstrated expertise as a Product Owner, proficient in undertaking tasks typical of the role.
  • Proven track record in managing B2C digital product development, both online and offline.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders across diverse business functions.
  • Proficiency in Agile methodologies, championing a user-centric approach.
  • Strong skills in translating business requirements into technical user stories, leveraging tools like JIRA.
  • Experience in business process management or service design is advantageous.
