Are you passionate about leading technology teams to create impactful solutions in the health tech sector?

The client

Want to shape the future of digital care systems and drive innovations that make a real difference in people’s lives?

A bit about them?

They’re a rapidly growing Health-Tech startup that’s making waves in the UK’s social care sector. Their mission is to digitise an industry that’s still largely paper-based, providing innovative mobile and web-based tools that streamline care delivery and improve outcomes.

Over the past few years, they’ve quadrupled their customer base and are now looking to accelerate their growth further.

The role

As a Tech Lead, you will take full technical ownership of the company’s flagship products. Collaborating closely with your squad (Product Manager and 3-4 Devs) to drive the development of innovative solutions, including a new mobile app for service users and advanced data analytics dashboards. You’ll have lots of ownership and technical direction in this role, they’d love to take any ideas you have on board!

Your role will involve both hands-on coding (around 65% of your time) and the other 35% will be spent mentoring and leading a team of junior to mid-level developers. No stress if you don’t have a huge amount of managerial/lead experience, they’re happy to train you on this.

The candidate

What’s in it for you?

You’ll join a vibrant and innovative start-up environment, working with a team passionate about making a difference. They’re offering a salary of up to £105,000 plus private medical insurance, a generous L&D budget, enhanced parental leave, and flexible working options. They’re also huge on fostering a supportive and inclusive company culture.

Regarding office-based work, the team usually gets together on Wednesdays and Fridays at their London (Holborn) office.

About you?

You’re an experienced engineer with at least 5 years of professional experience, proficient in the JavaScript stack (React, Node, TypeScript). If you lean more towards the backend (Node) then that’s a huge plus. Your background includes:

  • Some mentoring experience, they’re happy to train you on this.
  • AWS and DevOps experience would be beneficial but not essential.
  • Prior work on SaaS products, ideally in a B2B setting.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate complex data environments.
  • A background in MedTech or Health-tech is a plus.

If you’re interested in joining this super cool start-up and being part of its mission to transform the social care sector with innovative technical solutions, please apply or email me at jake@zebrapeople.com.

Unfortunately, this role does not offer sponsorship and you must be based in the UK.
