Lead Design Researcher required for innovation hub to help solve some of the most complex and exciting challenges through transportation and mobility across digital and physical landscape.

My client is a global name in the industry, formed as an innovation hub inside this well known business to help push the business to the future through the use of innovation.

Business is focussed on pushing things out into the future both in terms of transport & mobility.

The role

As Lead Design Researcher you will report into the highly experienced Director of Design Research and be responsible for leading the team through design research process to help uncover insights that input into all the key phases of the design & development process. Ultimately you will be the champion of Design Research.

Working in 4 key areas from

  • leading an experienced team of Design Researchers through managing research budgets to leading a team.
  • planning and inspiring through design research
  • experimenting and thinking creatively to solve complex design challenges across both physical and digital landscape.
  • Facilitate and run co creation workshops to synthesizing research findings.


The candidate

As Lead Design Researcher it is important you’ve got vast commercial experience in the Design Research space be it running end to end research programmes to leading people and projects throughout.
