We’re working with well-loved retail brand Waitrose who are looking for a Head of Product and Experience Design to join their team!
For the past few years, the John Lewis and Partners brand have been on a mission to transform their business, making massive investments into the design and experience teams to expand their digital, virtual and delivery service offerings. They’re now keen to replicate with Waitrose the success they’ve had with their John Lewis digital transformation.
Within this role, you’ll be owning everything from research through to visuals. You’ll be working collaboratively to enhance existing Waitrose journeys and designing/delivering exciting new products and services, including a mobile app, and re-doing their main website. Ultimately you’ll be responsible for building out Waitrose’s overarching strategy, so you’ll be looking at everything from a holistic standpoint.
You’ll also be heading up a team of Product Designers, UX Designers, Service Designers and UX Researchers. Around 26 people at the moment, but the plan is to grow this to around to 40. An integral part of this role is around the coaching and personal development of this team.
What they’re looking for:
💸 Salary: Up to £114,000 + benefits
🏡 WFH policy: Their office is based in greater London but attendance is super flexible
💬 Interview process: 2-3 stage (most likely 2)
