Charity
Or call Jake Tindell
A respected children's reading charity in the UK passionately committed to advocating the advantages of reading for children.
Their ultimate goal is to foster joyful, thriving, and imaginative children who achieve remarkable academic success. Backed by substantial funding, they actively partner with local authorities, schools, children’s centers, health visitors, and libraries, extending their impact to over 3 million families each year.
As part of their transition to a product- and proposition-led approach, they are seeking a Digital Optimisation Analyst whose work will encompass all aspects of their online presence. To plan, track, optimise, and evaluate the performance of their online content and services – and the end-to-end journeys within them – covering areas such as service delivery, information provision, communications, and fundraising.
This is a hands-on role. You will actively collaborate with cross-functional teams to introduce innovative digital processes, ensuring a comprehensive understanding and alignment with the ongoing digital transformation. Your responsibilities will encompass the fundamental aspects of an analyst’s role, including digital analytics and reporting, on-site and SEO optimization, as well as driving digital enhancements through website maintenance and engaging external suppliers for minor developments.
What experience do I need?
You’ll need deep expertise in the field. A significant aspect of this role involves setting and implementing KPIs and digital tracking across various platforms, accompanied by the ability to provide comprehensive explanations for their benefits. Effective communication of your ideas to teams and external agencies is crucial.
Proficiency in Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and other Google reporting tools is essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies is desirable, although not mandatory.
What’s in it for me?
They’re offering a salary of up to £37,000, along with a flexible working arrangement that combines remote work and office presence through a hybrid model – either in their London or Leeds location. Additionally, you will benefit from a generous 7% pension contribution and enjoy 28 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays.
This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to a remarkable children’s charity and actively support their transition towards new and enhanced digital processes.
What’s the interview process?
It’s a fairly simple one, the first stage is a panel interview with the Head of Digital and two other members of the team. The second stage will be a slightly informal chat with the Department Director.
We welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Our team includes parents, the self-taught, the university-educated, and people of a wide variety of nationalities, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds.
Obviously, we’re looking to ensure it’s a solid fit from both sides: we want you to step into a role you love, and we want to offer you a place you’re proud to come to every day for work.
We know that diverse teams are strong teams, and welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences to apply to be part of life at Zebra People. We are committed to a fair and accessible recruitment process for all candidates. We would be happy to meet any accommodation requests during the application or interview process, please just let us know.
Let's work together to find the right people, fast.
We'll partner with you to find a company you can grow with.
