Service Design-focussed consultancy with a great name in the market and a growing team!
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established studio known for designing impactful services and driving meaningful change across public and private sector organisations — from transport and health to finance and government.
There’s currently a mix of other Service Design Mid-weights and Seniors, who all report to the Design Director. Currently 5-strong but aiming to get to double figures (including contractors) by next year.
This is an opportunity to learn from more experienced designers and grow your Service Design profile through a range of projects you’ll be supporting on.
They don’t mandate the number of days in the (London) office you need to be in, but would generally expect around 2-3 days per week.
Sponsorship or fully remote working is not available.
As a mid-weight Service Designer, you’ll contribute to end-to-end design projects – from research and discovery to concept development and delivery. You’ll work closely with the wider team to co-create better service experiences for users and organisations.
Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and conducting user research
Mapping customer journeys and identifying opportunity areas
Designing and iterating service concepts
Facilitating workshops and co-design sessions
Producing service blueprints, design artefacts, and strategic insights
Previous experience as a Service Designer (at least 2 years, roughly)
Proficiency with service design methods and tools (e.g. journey mapping, service blueprints, prototyping)
Strong communicator and happy to work in agency-environment (bonus points if you have done before)
Comfortable working with stakeholders, running workshops, and presenting work
Experience working in complex domains (e.g. public sector, finance, healthcare, mobility)
