These guys help find and provide the best legal consultation in the country as well as globally. Traditionally more focussed on print publishing, they're now going through a huge digital transformation and are committed to follow the necessary guidance from UX and digital experts.

The client

Great time to join as our client values Lean UX as a way to uncover new products and services. The C-Suite even get involved in design sprints.

They are investing significant monies into this transformation as there is a huge amount of untapped potential for new products.

This will suit someone who enjoys working in small, high performing teams and really embrace the chance to cover off both User Research and UX Design deliverables. All whilst working on really interesting and challenging projects with easy access to various users and stakeholders.

The digital team already has approximately 30 people, split across 4 verticals;

  • Tech services – Developers, Engineers
  • Product / UX – Product Owners, Designers, UX etc
  • Change Delivery – Project Management, Business Analysts
  • Data – Analysts etc.

The role

This is a real chance to play a crucial role within the digital transformation of this respected firm. You will craft world class customer experiences across their digital channels, based on a deep understanding of the customer journey, their core customer behaviours and based on human-centred design principles.

This also includes;

  • Being accountable for defining, implementing and tuning information architecture/taxonomy to ensure optimal engagement, conversion and traffic acquisition/retention.
  • Responsible for mapping user journeys, producing visual designs, concepts, layouts, wireframes, prototypes and specifications as applicable.
  • Organising and performing user research, usability reviews, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Champion a test and learn approach, identifying opportunities to concept, usability and Multi Variant Test.
  • Proactively keep up to date with industry best practices, ways of working, processes, and tooling, seeking opportunities to embed within the company as applicable.
  • Manage and work with 3rd party design agencies that integrate into the Products they offer.

The candidate

This will suit someone who has significant experience as a UX Designer in a consumer facing industry. You’ll also need to be confident handling a range of stakeholders, especially at senior level.

You’ll also need to have solid experience within not only producing UX Design deliverables (flows, wireframes, prototypes etc) but will also need previous experience facilitating User Research and Usability Testing, both in person and using digital services. This includes defining and tuning information architectures and taxonomies also.

The client also need someone to look at analytics and trends in the industry to create experiences that delight customers. So you’ll need to be an expert in User Centric Design principles and current design trends whilst confident in educating others in what they are and how best to implement them.

 

***Given the current situation with Covid19, this client have got the green light to interview and have someone start remotely until things eventually return to normal. At that point, there is also the opportunity to work from home at least 1 day from home each week. There could be the potential for more but will have to see how things go initially***
