We’ve got a super exciting opportunity with a global media company. They own a ton of amazing brands that you definitely would have heard of, and they’re now looking for a Lead Product Designer to join their team.
The client
They have over 1 billion consumers across 32 regions through print, digital, video and social platforms, so there’s huge potential for who your work can reach.
As a brand they also emphasise cross-functional working between Product, Engineering, Design, UX and Delivery.
The role
This role is an integral part of a Discovery and Navigation project that the brand is undertaking, within their Lifestyle and Commerce cluster.
Your role will include, but not be limited to:
- Leading design practices that focus on measurable outcomes for the customer and business
- Leading the Discovery and Navigation squad, and defining work around UX, taxonomy, architecture and strategy
- Aligning with key stakeholders, including Product and Tech leads to map out and define the strategic end to end experience
- Utilise user research and analytics data to develop a deep understanding of how users engage with the brand
- Leading 2 other Senior designers within your squad

The candidate
What do they want to see from you?
- You’re an end-to-end product designer but your strengths lie in UX, taxonomy and information architecture
- Strong product ownership experience, with continuous iteration and improvement
- You’ve previously led a team, able to empower and manage to help your team grow and succeed
- Strong ability to communicate with various stakeholders, and across multi-disciplinary teams
- You’re able to take smart risks, and champion new ideas
- You’ve worked on a big system before, especially for multiple brands
- Bonus if you have worked within a consumer-facing, lifestyle focused brand

💸 Base Salary: Up to £85,000 (doe)
🏡 WFH Policy: 3 days/week in their central London office
🗣 Interview process: 2 stage (1st with hiring manager + colleague, 2nd with a panel)
