Day Rate; £600 a day – Inside IR35

Location: Remote – 1 day a month in London.

I’m currently looking for an experienced Senior UX Contractor with SC clearance to join a major government department on an exciting 18-month contract. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating user-centered designs and have the ability to turn complex information into simple and intuitive interfaces.

Key Requirements:

At least 5 years of professional experience in UX design
Strong portfolio showcasing relevant work experience
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of design tools such as Sketch, Figma, InVision, etc.
Understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles
Security clearance is a must for this role

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and design solutions that meet user needs
Design and develop user-centered interfaces for web and mobile applications
Conduct user research, usability testing, and iterate on designs based on feedback
Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs
Ensure designs are accessible and meet inclusive design principles
Participate in design review and provide constructive feedback to other team members
