Midweight UI/UX Designer

The client

We have partnered with a luxury/premium eCommerce agency who are seeking a creative UI/UX Designer to join the digital experience team. They build and design beautiful websites for luxury/ premium brands. A full client list can be disclosed during the initial screening process.

Salary: 40,000 – 50,000

The role

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop compelling visual concepts for eCommerce websites.
• Demonstrate creativity by designing both within and beyond brand guidelines, pushing the boundaries to create innovative designs.
• Craft precise modular components based on existing style guides, ensuring pixel-perfect execution.
• Prototype interactive elements and micro-animations to enhance user experience.
• Establish comprehensive design systems and documentation, enabling the development team to seamlessly implement designs.
• Provide precise time estimations for design briefs, ensuring accurate project planning and execution.

The candidate

• Proficiency in using Figma, demonstrating a strong grasp of design tools and techniques.
• Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Principle, After Effects, or similar applications, showcasing your ability to bring designs to life.
• Exceptional usability and visual communication skills, ensuring a seamless and visually appealing user experience.
• Inquisitive mindset and critical thinking abilities, enabling you to explore creative solutions and innovative design approaches.
• Capability to comprehend and design for conversion rate optimization, enhancing the effectiveness of digital experiences.
• Effective communication skills, enabling you to interact proficiently with clients and team members, fostering collaboration and understanding.
• A team player who excels both in collaborative design environments and independent work settings, showcasing adaptability and versatility.
• While experience with luxury brands in the fashion and beauty sector is valued, it is not mandatory.
• Familiarity with e-commerce design principles is preferred, although not mandatory, demonstrating your adaptability across various design domains.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics or other data analysis tools is advantageous, although not a prerequisite, showcasing your potential to incorporate data-driven insights into your designs

🏡 WFH Policy:

The role is fully remote, but they have an office in London where the successful designer can work and collaborate with the team.
