An opportunity to lead Service Design alongside a Head of Design, amongst a wider team already in place.
Great opportunity to join a design team made up of User Researchers, UI, UX and Service Designers working together with Developers for a consultancy who really value their staff & culture.
This privately-owned company is in growth-mode for their design disciplines, so it’s an interesting time to join and help shape the proposition!
Historically being a tech consultancy they also build out their solutions, working closely with the in-house engineering team.
They have a design team of approximately 15 people, covering UX, UI and User Research but they need a Lead Service Designer to grow their client relationships and experiences even further – specifically for their clients within the government sector.
This company also takes great pride in selecting projects that have a positive societal impact! NOT whatever they can get in and out of the door as quickly and cheaply as possible.
They have a London-based office but the expectation is very relaxed/grown-up around when you need to come in.
They also offer a 50% profit share from the company which goes back to employees based on performances. As you can imagine, they have great staff retention levels also!
*Sorry, sponsorship is unavailable.
This a great opportunity for someone at Lead-level to come in and ask questions of the agency, their processes, and their clients – in order to shake things up and improve experiences in as many areas as possible.
They are super busy with new work. 50% is government. However, they only take on work that is purposeful and interesting. They have a lovely team, super flexible work balance but the likelihood is you’ll need to be able to come into the office without too much hassle, as you might have an opportunity to lead the practice alongside the Head of Design.
With contractors they are circa 25 in size. Really nice offices in London too.
You’ll work very closely with clients in intense, user-focused, prototype driven sprints, that grow into long-term relationships. Creating designed experiences with real impact!
