Lead Product Designer

The client

We are working with a global media/publishing brand looking for a Senior and Lead Product Designer!

The company’s award-winning content reaches 84 million consumers in print, 367 million in digital, and 379 million across social platforms, and generates more than 1 billion video views each month.

What they’re looking for is a strategic and highly collaborative Senior/Lead Product Designer who will drive business and design strategies whilst putting the user and their content at the heart of the experience.

The role

The Role

They are looking for someone with design experience to work across multiple platforms and help them make a difference as you will help the team make the right decisions and increase the impact of research across the organization through high-quality research.

The success of this role depends on the success of their brands effectively utilizing the platform so collaboration and creative strategizing with cross-brand and cross-disciplinary stakeholders will be critical.

The candidate

• Strong experience leading cross-platform digital experiences at consumer-focused technology or media companies.
• Take smart risks and champion new ideas.
• Exceptional track record to empower and manage teams of designers, to help them grow and succeed.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, interpersonal skills, to clearly communicate and lead diverse, multi-disciplinary teams.
• Experience leading and building world class subscription product experiences, streamline workflows with continuous iteration and improvement. Data and iteration are second nature to you, but you know when to experiment with new propositions.

Interview process:

1 hour: Call and a colleague

30-1 hour calls, set aside a couple of hours: Panel interview (product and engineering)
