01
When we started working with Kestrix, the business had just one engineer and ambitious plans to develop and scale its AI-powered heat-loss mapping platform for buildings.
They needed to grow their engineering capability quickly, with a plan to add multiple engineers over six months. The brief was highly specific. Kestrix wanted technically strong people with mathematical or academic backgrounds who also bought into an early-stage climate tech business and were happy working collaboratively in the office two to three days a week.

02
We worked closely with Kestrix to access a specialist talent pool through our established technology and climate tech networks, identifying people who matched both the technical brief and the realities of joining an early-stage business.
That search resulted in four key engineering hires into the growing team.
Our relationship went beyond recruitment. We also brought Kestrix into the wider climate tech community, including hosting an event where one of their founders spoke about climate and green technology, helping raise their profile with relevant talent and the wider market.
03
The engineers we placed became part of the team building and scaling Kestrix’s platform. That increased technical capability helped the business develop its product, reach product market fit, win new business and secure a further round of funding.
Kestrix has since received significant industry recognition, including Innovation of the Year at Unlock Net Zero, recognition at the NHMF Best Practice Awards, and being named among the Top 100 Global Energy Start-ups.

We'll help you find a company where you can make an impact and grow.
