Senior React Engineer

I am currently searching for a Senior React Engineer to join a well-established not-for-profit organisation that provides unbiased advice to consumers. Whether you’re going on holiday, opening a savings account, picking a university, need legal advice, upgrading your phone or getting your first mortgage, they’re here to help.

The Senior React Engineer will be joining one of three squads and ideally have mentoring experience (or a desire to do so) as well as a love of Agile practices. It’s a pivotal time for Technology as they drive forward their ambitious transformation programme, putting users at the heart of every product they create evolving their technologies to deliver the best user experiences.

Current technology stack includes: JavaScript, React, Node, TypeScript

This is an opportunity to join an organisation that is entirely independent; they have no owners, shareholders or government departments to answer to and you’ll never see an advert on their websites, apps or magazines.

The Senior React Engineer will be part of an awesome team at an excellent time, as they advance their digital evolution and adapt their ways of working, leveraging methodologies including Lean Canvas to drive innovation through squads.

This position could also suit a mid-level engineer who is ready to take the next step in their career. The position will pay up to £70,000 along with various benefits including 28 days holiday, life assurance, flexible hours, private medical, pension and training budgets.

As an ex-freelance art director, that moved into freelance (and permanent) creative recruitment, I like to think I have a good understanding of how ad agencies, design agencies and production houses recruit for creative freelance positions, but (unfortunately) I made many mistakes along the way. Based on my experience both as a freelance creative and […]

So it’s time… You’ve decided it’s your time to move on which can be both daunting and liberating, I know. This process, however subjective to your situation, if dealt with properly can make a huge impact to not only your exit but the businesses and ex-colleagues perception of you afterwards. Below I’ve put together some simple […]

An exclusive interview with Anja Maerz and Swetha Sethu-Jones, organisers of The Research Thing Meetup group…

With everything that’s going on at the moment in the world, many of you may be thinking about looking for a new role for security in these uncertain times.

You’ve got to move fast when you’re entrepreneurial. Last week one of our clients messaged with a need for a Frontend Developer to join ASAP. We were up for the challenge. By drilling down on their requirements and then using our database and network we identified five candidates. Within 1 week they had interviewed, tested […]

As a result, coding skills are becoming more highly sought after and tech has become one of the most candidate-driven markets around, with the demand for developers ever increasing. As we all know, the market moves fast, and software developers […]
