Mature tech start-up who offer a unique proposition to the market are looking for a UX UI Designer to design end to end across their design function.

The client

We are currently working with a brilliant Tech Platform who are focused on building software to make the process of finding, hiring, managing and paying temporary workers painless and easy. Their software is making waves in the industry and they’re growing their team so that they can get their online products into the hands of more people, more efficiently and faster.

They were founded in 2014 and since then have grown from 4, to 30 people organically, and the team is made up of developers, designers and product.

The culture they have is brilliant, and everyone truly believes in the product and the value it brings to the market. They embrace diversity and different ideas, and are flexible in their working approach and environment.

The role

They are looking for a UX UI Designer to join them, working alongside Product Managers, and implement and improve engagement of the Design System Experience, working end to end so you would be designing user journeys, prototypes, run workshops, and then carry it through to visual completion across platform. In terms of sort of work, they want to improve the interaction that users have with the product, and improve engagement and conversion.

One of the key components of being able to do more, faster, is their design system, which now needs to be taken to the next level. For their next design hire they are looking for someone who has hands-on experience of building and maintaining design systems. They expect the ratio of design system work to product design work to be high initially, but reduce over time as the system matures.

The candidate

You will have:

  • Experience designing end to end processes, covering UX (workshops, user testing, prototyping and wireframing) through to visual completion.
  • You will be comfortable working alongside Product teams as well as working autonomously.
  • Solid experience improving customer engagement and conversion across products.
