UX focussed Product Designer sought to make an actual difference in people’s lives by helping create tools and services which provide information, support and advice to the masses around key issues from money to consumer rights.

The client

Amazing charitable organisation who have a network right across the UK offering support, advice and information around important topics from legal, rights, money to health to name just a few. Recent Coronavirus section offering advice and information about support people can get is averaging around 50,000 unique daily hits a day.

Organization has a large online and offline presence and the work they do and the service they provide actively make a difference in people’s everyday lives. Opportunity to join them as a UX focussed Product Designer and help create these tools & services.

The role

Working as an end to end UX focussed Product Designer you will work with User Researchers as well as carrying out some User Research yourself from improving tools and process to carrying out more discovery focussed research to make sure the work they’re doing is having a real impact on everyday lives. You will then help design those services from the research you’ve done!.

Working on an array of projects from redesigning the volunteer sign up process to creating financial support calculators.

The candidate

You will be a UX focussed Product designer who can demonstrate experience in the entire end to end Product Design process, all be it leaning more towards the UX scale of things. Having a passion for accessible design and helping drive this forward will be really useful.

Ability to use Sketch and any experience working within design systems would be great.

Ability to manage stakeholders and work in a collaborative manner with multiple designers etc.

Must have a portfolio demonstrating commercial experience.
