UX Designer

Cloud Based Solutions Company

I am looking for a UX designer to work with a Cloud Based Solutions company in South West London. This role is right for someone wanting to take the next steps of their career by working with the Lead UX designer to path out future methodology.

The client

The way Freelancers and Self-Employed workers fill out there tax returns are changing, and therefore my client is changing the way they work. Once a traditional software company specialising in 4 key areas they are now keeping up with the times and growing their cloud-based solutions. They not only provide software but also professional expertise that help accountants and audit professionals work with clients with speed and efficiency. They are holding a strong place in the market with the top 20 in the industry using their product.

They boast a great culture and have a mature environment where everyone is treated with trust which is reflected in their work from home policy and flexible working.

The role

My client has just hired a lead UX designer they are now looking to build the team around them, currently hiring one mid-senior UX designer but will be adding more to the team.

Key responsibilities

  • product design from concepts to customer journeys to wireframes and prototypes;
  • Facilitate workshops with stakeholders;
  • Run user-research and usability studies;
  • Champion UX across the business;
  • Produce low, mid and hig
  • h fidelity assets and recommendations;
  • Iterate quickly in Design Sprints;

The candidate

A suitable candidate for this role would have a real passion for UX research and design with the confidence to drive this forward and be an evangelize in the business. This role isn’t for someone who wants to coast and have an easy ride.

Key requirements

  • Experience with various methods of user-research / testing;
  • Experience creating UX assets such as user journeys and cases, wireframes and prototypes
  • Highly organised and good interpersonal skills;
  • Lean UX experience;

To be considered for this role you will have a portfolio that show cases your best work with methodologies as well as deliverables.
