UX and Service Design

UX Architect

Automotive Agency

Love cars? Come design for some!

The client

You want to work for an agency.

Fast paced, variety of people and disciplines, cool workplace and very social. What’s not to love?

Long hours. Too many clients. No clue what happens to the work you did for a client. All valid reasons.

How about an agency that has one client, 9-5 finishes and lasting impact you can see.

Based in Old Street, an agency working exclusively for one of the largest automotive brands in the world are hiring for a UX Architect to join their UX team of 6. Reporting into the Head of UX, you’ll work directly with the end client. No account managers, no Project Managers – although there are a few – you’ll talk directly with stakeholders understanding their requirements and asking new questions to ever evolve their digital experience.

The product road map also includes working on the entire digital estate for the car manufacturer including advancements in electric vehicles and other innovations in the automotive industry. Socially there are few agencies out there that can match the experience you’ll have. Whether it’s team building exercises, game nights, planned night outs, conferences, talks and many other events lined up, you’ll have a great opportunity to be involved in more than just “work”.

The role

Some key responsibilities;

  • UX/IA for rich and complex environments; navigation solutions, taxonomies, wireflows, wireframes and prototyped interaction design

  • Lead planning sessions and multi-disciplinary teams to problem solve and deliver innovative and progressive ideas – client-facing in many cases.
  • Develop longer term proposals that will engage and support customers of the brands in their purchase and ownership of automotive products
  • Contribute to and maintain UX and IA asset libraries
