Join a product studio with an excelent client roster where you will have the chance to really push the creative boundaries for a suite of complex products.
The client
Work within a well established Digital Product Studio that has been running for over a decade. They specialise in building enterprise software, primarily for big names within the Financial Services industry.
This year, they are looking to launch a brand new B2B2C investment platform and are currently looking for a passionate, detail obsessed UI designer to join the team and help make this happen.
You’ll be responsible for the complete look and feel of the product and given the runway to push the creative bounderies of what’s expected for complex products. You’ll experiment with micro-interactons and brand implementations in order to help build a product that stands out against it’s competition.
The role will require you working in their London office five days a week. However, you’ll be there for a reason as you’ll be working day to day with the rest of your team and some of the sector experts in a collaborative environment.
The role
As the UI / Visual Designer, you’ll be joining a small design team including a Head of Product and two other UI Designers focusing on UI, Visual Design and micro-interactions for the new investments platform that they are looking to launch.
You will have the oportunity to experiment and push the boundaries of a how product like this will look and feel as the aim is to create a product unlike anything on the market. So you’ll be able to flex your creativity with virtually no boundaries (Accesibility and function still play an obvious role!)
As part of this role you will:
- Use Figma to turn concepts into pixel perfect, functional designs and prototypes.
- Continuously work to optimise designs with an iterative approach.
- Help the design team to build, organise and maintain components, libraries and a general design system.
- Ensure clear communication and delivery of designs to development teams.
- Help raise the bar for their user experience and user interface execution.
While not essential, experience working on complex platforms would be a benefit!
The candidate
What you need:
- Demonstrable experience previously working as a UI or Visual Designer, on digital product projects.
- A portfolio that demonstrates UI Designs with creative flair and high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of using Figma or equivelent design tools.
- An interest and experience in designimng micro-interactions.
- Motion and Animation (For Product) a great additional benefit.
- Experience designing for complex software a plus.
