One of the largest charities and not-for-profit brands in the UK are looking to hire a Senior UX Designer for a large digital piece starting in discovery for the financial part of their platform (the platform as a whole covers Education, Government, Travel, Insurance and lots more).
One of the key things they’ve noticed is that in today’s world of challenger banks and the more traditional financial institutes people have access to, consumers are finding it harder than ever to understand what the best choice is for them along with the long-term implications of any choice they make.
Starting in Discovery, the team will be looking to identify the key users, what pain points those users come across often, the decision making process they go through when choosing a bank, the problems in journeys they go through when deciding as well as problems they often face in the future as a result of the bank they went with.
Working alongside Service Designers, UX Designers and Visual Designers, the role will involve working in Agile sprints. Initially, you’ll lead stakeholder workshops gathering high-level requirements. You’ll then begin to conduct qualitative research eventually leading to 3-5 user personas which along with other insight gathered, will help inform and validate design decisions. You’ll also test prototypes on users.
You’ll have access to on-site lab facilities.
A portfolio of work or case studies is not essential however will be beneficial.
