Senior User Researcher

Our client is a government department and are looking for a Senior User Researcher to work on various policies within the public sector.

Our client is a government department and are looking for a Senior User Researcher for a 6 month contract role.

You will be part of the cross-functional team in which you will be carrying out Discovery research uncovering user impulses and behaviours.

The Ideal person for this role will have:

  • An academic background, i.e. a HCI degree (Desirable but not essential)
  • Experience in an organisation that’s research orientated, or experience working in the government sector (Please note that this is not essential!)
  • Solid experience operating within an Agile environment and working in cross-functional teams

Length of Contract = 6 months with the possibility of extension

Location = this department has various offices throughout the UK, the main one being in London. However, there is the potential for you to work fully remotely if needed so long as you are at least UK-based (for security reasons).


Please note that this role is inside of IR35. Still in a current contract? No problem! In addition, the onboarding for this role can take around a month which works well if you are looking to transition from perm into freelance or you are currently in a contract nearing the end of duration.
