Senior User Researcher

Government Sector

Our client is looking for a User Researcher to support the digital team who are developing an improved digital application service for victims applying for
Criminal Injuries Compensation.

The User research is extremely important but difficult and sensitive – with research being conducted from vulnerable adults and those who have suffered other life-changing physical injuries. Research is required to underpin development. Besides regular user research on the project, there is a considerable backlog of discovery work to be completed with different user groups.

The role will be shared across several Prison teams:
Team 1 provides applications and tooling to enable other HMPPS teams to build secure microservices efficiently.
Team 2 focuses on evaluating a pilot for pin phones within several different prisons
Team 3 is also evaluating a pilot for hand held devices used for facilities management

** Must be willing to conduct research in prisons **
