Salary Survey 2022
Like many FinTech's, these guys are on a mission to be the world’s most proactive bank. Improving lives by providing better clarity, intelligence and technology to empower every individual in making the smartest financial decisions.
In order to achive this, they are doubling down on customer centricity and bringing in a UX and UI pairing at an early stage to embed design into the business.
The business are an early stage challenger bank who have already gone through all of their FCA registration and set up most of the backend fundamentals to getting their product to market. The next step before launch is they are undergoing a mjor branding exercise and building out the design team in order to take thier MVP to a product that their customers will love.
The founding team is in place and the MVP hs launched as a functional app. However, they intend to improve on this before they begin to market the product and onboard customers.
They are starting out with a current account and credit card, but will be broadening their portfolio with the foundations in place for a positive, supportive and thoughtful new bank.
The product is developing with incredible pace; but they are now at the point where they must enhance features, improve the experience and focus on the creative craft that was sidestepped in the drive to launch their MVP app and website. Put simply, they have been focussing on function over form in the early stages. So, it’s time to take a step back, improve what they already have created and realise our plan to create world-class, intuitive and beautiful products that are a joy to use.
You will be responsible for the visual interface and aesthetic appeal of both the app and website. As a Senior UI Designer you will join at key point in time for the business; they have thier FCA licence (which is a huge achievement) and with funding secured, a compelling and realistically ambitious roadmap ahead.
This is an opportunity to make a discernible impact for a young, evolving and exciting new brand. Working with colleagues and external agencies, you will brief, develop and appraise the creative articulation of thier brand into their product and web interfaces.
The product team is based in London and supported by a retained development agency, strategic/creative expertise, and UX specialists. You will be joining at the starting point of the growth of the team.
