Our new client is on a mission is to empower millions of people to live a better and more fulfilling financial life.

The client

They were founded by engineers, who are extremely focused on coding, product and data. These are the three pillars on which they’re building their tech culture.

They’ve just closed a seed round with Kima Ventures, one of the first in Transferwise, and Aglaé Ventures, early stage fund of the Groupe Arnault, investor in Netflix and Airbnb.

Your focus will be on our backend infrastructure, from scaling challenges to data processing ones. They have an intense roadmap ahead, which includes a plethora of new features and integrations, which you will be part of.

They’re looking for someone who’s got a solid few years working in JavaScript, with at least the last couple focused on React Native. You’ll love to deliver incredible code whilst reducing complex problems to simple solutions.

The candidate

Some of their current interests lie in:

Product: They are building a finance app used by thousands of people every day. They are shipping an average of a feature per week.

Machine learning: They have an enormous amount of transaction data, which they are using to provide better insights to their users. Predicting when a user is going in overdraft, when a card payment is coming through or clustering a huge set of subscriptions are a few of the problems they are tackling.

Scaling: Keeping the application running. This means an intense effort and quality in the work that they do.

They’re offering a salary of up to £100K plus stock options. If of interest then pop an email to and we can take it from there.
