Senior QA Analyst

Sports Agency

Are you a huge sports fan? Yes? Read ahead! No? Then even so, the work life balance and culture this company can offer makes it one to talk to.

The client

They’re looking for a Senior QA to join them and test across web and mobile for some of the biggest brands in sport.

These guys put employee happiness at the forefront of everything they do. They’re happy for you to work remotely, or in their Clerkenwell office, as well as offering flexi hours (they’re happy for you to take an hour out of the day to pick kids up from school for example).

The role

They’re looking for someone who’s very much a self-starter and is used to building robust, technical regression frameworks as well as manual testing a variety of web and mobile applications.  Working closely with one other QA across a variety of projects, they need you to have a strong understanding of both manual and automation QA processes. They’re a very agile, fast moving company so someone from a product or agency background would be ideal.

A few tools and languages they work with include:

Ghost Inspector, JavaScript, Umbraco CMS, CSS, HTML, Regression tools.

You’ll be tasked with developing new and innovative approaches to increasing their coverage with automation and regression suites across all of their clients and products, as well as the generic testing activities such as:

·         Creating and maintaining manual test scripts and documentation for complex features.

·         Manual testing the output of developments in an agile manner.

·         Providing early feedback, advice and technical approaches to new builds and features to streamline workflows.

·         Mentoring the mid level QA you are working with.

The candidate

They’re offering up to £70K for the role and as previously mentioned, put a huge emphasis on employee wellbeing through remote and flexible working. As well as this they offer you your birthday off (unless you want to bring them cake. They like cake.), a machine of your choice, free gym membership, a flexible training budget, competitive pension contributions and above average parental leave.

We welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences. Our team includes parents, the self-taught, the university-educated, and people of a wide variety of nationalities, ages, and socio-economic backgrounds.

Obviously, we’re looking to ensure it’s a solid fit from both sides: we want you to step into a role you love, and we want to offer you a place you’re proud to come to every day for work.

We know that diverse teams are strong teams, and welcome those with alternative identities, backgrounds, and experiences to apply to be part of life at Zebra People. We are committed to a fair and accessible recruitment process for all candidates. We would be happy to meet any accommodation requests during the application or interview process, please just let us know.
