Senior Product Designer (UX/UI) - SaaS

SaaS Start-up / Customer On-boarding

Joining a growing start-up as they enter the next big phase of their product development. Working as their second Product Designer in the team, reporting to a Lead, you will work end to end to produce the most viable, intuitive and user-friendly service possible within their market.

The client

This start-up are building a platform that helps to automate many of the lengthy and mundane tasks completed by compliance officers when on-boarding and interacting with new customers in regulated markets.

By automating the process, customers can be fully on-boarded in under a second. Not only does this make the process easier internally, but creates a much smoother experience for customers – a win, win by any business’s standards.

Founded in 2015 and currently a team of 30 passionate people they are now growing the design team in order to further push the effectiveness of their product and introduce some new features.

While the initial target is regulated markets, the wider vision for their product is to create a ‘digital passport’, helping to create greater levels of trust between customers and the businesses they interact with.

Their three key values speak volumes: Trust, Empowerment and Growth. Meaning you know you are joining a team that truly want to get things done, provide all the support you need while allowing you to remain autonomous and encourage you to continually push yourself and grow with them.

They offer a great work/life balance on top of some benefits that really make them feel like a company that cares for their staff and culture, passed the usual perks that are nearly always mentioned elsewhere.

The role

You’ll work with other designers (One initially but the team is growing), product managers and engineers to help solve complex user-software problems. You’ll be a voice for their users and their needs. An internal champion for exceptional product quality and the need for cohesive experiences.

On a day-to-day basis you’ll be involved in all parts of the product design process. You’ll take part in user research, uncovering and documenting user needs and use these to inform solutions, right through to contributing to the design system, look and feel and visual designs to be implemented.
