Digital services are disrupting many of the oldest businesses in the world and Insurance is no different. This is an opportunity to join one of the largest digital innovation hubs in London and help to transform the digital landscape of insurance products for the better.
This digital innovation hub sits as part of a global finance and insurance brand who are on a mission to use the power of digital to provide its customers with the best experience possible.
Don’t let the sector put you off as this team feel and operate much like an agency but with all the benefits of being in-house. That’s loads of ownership, variety an awesome culture and a strong focus on work/life balance.
The hub was set up almost three years ago to drive their digital presence forward and begin to explore new products and tools for their 30million+ customers and a core goal of helping them to become more financially independent through good digital products. Now an established design team of 50+ and a total headcount of around 200 they are helping to change the face of the financial industry as we know it today.
They are doing so by not only building products for themselves, but due to their success they now also build white label products for a number of the biggest names in the finance industry, operating even more like an agency than ever before.
Follow a ‘plan for failure’ mentality and run with any great ideas they have with the expectation that many of them will fail…but it’s always worth finding that out the hard way. They have experimented with many of the latest tech including Wearables, Voice, AR and there are many more exciting projects in the pipeline.
As a Senior Product Designer you will work end to end to craft global digital products that help their customers build financial resilience. These span across multiple touch points from B2C Web and Mobile (IOS and Android) to internal tools and B2B propositions.
They have recently shifted the team structure to create truly cross-functional ‘squads’ and will see you working closely with researchers, strategists, other designers and customers to understand customer needs and craft experiences alongside visual designers, copywriters, product owners and developers as well as many other key stakeholders across the business.
