Starting a family brings a whole host of new challenges to your life, but having people to talk to and friends to meet up with that are going through the same challenges can really make the difference.
That is why this start-up are building a social networking app to connect like-minded mothers/mothers-to-be across the globe, helping them to meet each other, talk and share advice.
Mirroring their product, this is the ideal place to work if you have small children or a family you need to be there for as they offer an abundance of flexibility.
An early stage start-up that are building a community for mum and mums-to-be. The product is a social networking mobile app to allow parents and those planning a family to find support, new friends, advice and so much more.
Still at an early stage with a small team totalling 16, they are now going through a growth period and scaling their teams. This is all following some brilliant successes since launch having had over 1million downloads and currently have over 240,000 active users.
They have a semi-distributed team and a ton of flexibility allowing you to find that sweet spot between work and life. That being said, this role is to be based on-site in London with more time in the office than not, so it’s not really suitable for Remote applicants.
They already have a killer leadership team on board with backgrounds including Deliveroo, Depop, Bumble and Badoo so there are high expectations for this product and a ton on experience to learn from.
They are currently looking for a Senior Product Designer to join their team in the Central London HQ. The role is replacing the designer who has been with them since they started three years ago and will see you taking full ownership of the product from a design perspective at this stage. There is one other designer in the business, but they focus more on marketing collateral.
Despite being the sole product designer for the time being, the CTO and CPO both come from design backgrounds and will be there to lend a hand and collaborate with whenever necessary.
You will be helping the team to level up the app from both an experience and visual perspective. Due to the stage they are at, the role is less about research and more about prototyping and getting new features/updates in the hands of your users to learn from them.
The team work in agile, but as some of the Dev’s and occasionally the CTO work remote there is a lot of collaborating through slack and video conferencing tools.
