Senior Product Designer


Senior Product Designer needed for an award winning ambitious FinTech start-up. Strong generalist required to join an excellent small but growing team.

The client

With approximately 200 people in the business currently, our client is expanding, including their designers who will grow from 8 to 12 within the year. The company itself focus on savings and investments. They have a wealth of impressive achievements and awards, as well as a great ethos!

The role

Reporting directly to the design manager, their design team consists of 5 squads, one for each of the core customer groups and one for the core team who deal with wider product issues which you would be a part of. The role will require an impressive end to end generalist (full stack design with a little less emphasis on visual as there is a solid interaction designer in the team). The role leans more towards UX processes and research, but you would still need to demonstrate some UI skills as you will help drive all stages of the design process.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to mentor junior members of the team. Inspiring those around you and leading visions will be an exciting part of this role.

The candidate

The ideal candidate:

  • Experience working in a fast paced environment alongside developers
  • Familiarity with design and prototyping tools (Sketch, Abstract, Figma, Marvel, Adobe etc)
  • Experience of native iOS/Android design
  • Experience using/constructing design systems
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies
  • A portfolio of work containing examples of both UX, UI and native applications
  • Experience helping lead design projects and presenting to stakeholders
  • In-house experience preferable but not mandatory
