You’ll be part of a large UX team at an exciting time to come on board currently, the company are making strives to take their UX maturity to the next level. This is a great opportunity to make a huge impact on how people access and enjoy using their service across the UK through their app.

The client

The company itself has got to be one of the most well known within their sector and on top of a great team they also offer some notable benefits including bonuses, flexible working (in ‘normal’ non/post Covid times), pension etc – typical of what you’d expect from a big organisation but also one that has paid attention to the culture past just having a beer fridge and a ping pong table!

Their office is based in London but they don’t expect anyone to work from there until it’s safe – but the plan will eventually be for employees to return, albeit on a flexible basis (2-3 days in the office per week) – please bare in mind if you’re not currently living in London.

The role

As the Senior Product Designer, you’ll be working on reimagining the app from the ground up. You’ll be leading the charge on creating and implementing a brand new Design System, including building a new visual language that is modern and slick for customers.

In your role, you’ll establish a robust delivery process with other designers and developers, ensuring contributions of the Design System is scalable and accessible. Alongside this, set up regular feedback sessions with customers to ensure your work is shaped from the customers view.

The candidate

  • Demonstrable experience in implementing Design Systems across web and app
  • Experience in scaling a Design system in a large organisation
  • Native mobile UX experience across IOS and Android
  • Confident to lead and guide less experienced designers
  • Proficiency with Figma, Sketch and InVision
  • Experience collaborating with product management, engineers and researchers
