User Experience

Senior Product Designer

Charity Fin-Tech

Fintech Start-up who help employees create their own charitable foundation, which is beneficial for companies, employees & charities.

The client

They are the world’s first investing to give platform whose goal is to help build financial resources to help tackle real world problems.

The product is a solution that offers employees a mini charitable foundation which is somewhat like a pension pot for purpose. By having your own mini foundation, you can then give/donate without choosing a single goal. The Pot is grown and automated through salary, benefits from tax efficiency and can grow through matched funding & investment. It’s an easier and more efficient way of making an impact.

The role

The company believe strongly in user centric & iterative design and are starting from the bottom to ensure they get it correct from the outset. They are looking for someone who can really demonstrate a strong capability with UX Design/Research whilst still having an appreciation for UI/Visual Design.

Initially it will be web focused, however in the future they do have plans to go into mobile/app as well.

Some of the key things you would be focused on are:

  • User research
  • Iterate through designs
  • Establish their first design system
  • Set Design Vision

They have a small space in London to work from and would like someone who can pop into the office a couple of times a week.

The candidate

Ideally you will be very UX focused with strong research skills, however have enough UI experience to help create the end-end for their product. You will also come in and help the company set up their processes to help define how they want to create the product as they scale upwards. As well as this they are looking for someone who is a self-starter and doesn’t need much direction.

As the company is still in its early stages and relatively small, they are looking for someone who can grow with the company and hopefully develop into a Head of Design/UX role that will help them define the product and how they build it. It’s a great opportunity to join the company and help them build it from the bottom up.
