The client

This start-up’s goal is to bring clarity and accelerate adoption of AI for all sized companies across the globe, helping to ensure a seamless transition to an AI driven world. They have built a large-scale market intelligence AI advice platform, connecting renowned AI experts with organisations. The expert network enables organisations to access rare AI expertise easily, whilst allowing the experts to monetise their knowledge. They really are at the cutting edge of AI and Machine Learning knowledge.

The role

Joining their growing frontend team, you’ll be building a variety of new features and functionality to facilitate ongoing scalability and development to their Data Science capabilities, as well as aiding in the delivery of their web interface. The frontend in built using React & Redux, so expertise in these areas will be needed.

This is a critical, hands on role. You’ll get to work closely with the CEO and founding team and will have visibility and input across the whole business as it grows.

A few of the responsibilities you can expect to have:

  • Defining the new frontend features alongside the product team
  • Identifying appropriate opportunities for refactoring/reworking code as appropriate and adding to the backlog
  • Liaising with the backend team to manage workflows and syncing up work during sprints
  • Creating and enhancing our test infrastructure for our frontend solution
  • Integrating with CI/CD tools such as Codeship, Github and others
  • Defining architecture and choosing tools with other team members for our solution

The candidate

Their full tech stack includes:

  • JavaScript, React, Redux, Webpack
  • Git, Github, Codeship
  • Heroku and Heroku pipelines
  • Python/Django
  • AWS
  • SQL (PostgreSQL)

A long as you are confident in your React & Redux skills, as well as having leadership qualities, they will certainly be open to having a chat!
