Senior Frontend Developer

The client

I am currently working with a Music Start-up that are working with some of the world’s top DJs to enhance their listener’s experience, they’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to join their team and help them achieve this.

The role

  • Adding new features and refining the existing feature set for the web
  • Set market-leading trends at the cutting edge of developments in front end-user experience
  • Ensure the reliable performance of streaming across a range of devices and browsers
  • Working to refine the user interface and quality of user experience

The candidate

  • Strong knowledge of React (ideally 3+ years)
  • Appreciation and understanding of UX principles
  • Experience with modern web technologies, coding, testing, debugging, and automation techniques

The current tech stack includes:

React, Redux, React Hooks, Audio streaming with Shaka, Sass, Authentication using internal API (JWT), Facebook API and Sign in with Apple JS

The digital platform has received over five million in funding so far and is looking to double in size over the next few months (currently 15). The position will pay up to £85k and has benefits including equity and 28 days holiday.
