It modernises the traditional workings of property diligence such as lengthy paperwork by creating an automated solution that delivers results to clients quickly and transparently using visualisation and report building methods. Since their launch in 2018, they’re already making tens of thousands of property transactions a year more efficient by giving lawyers and other professionals the technology they need to get the job done.
They’ve got big aims to become the universal risk rating for land and property, replacing a 150-year-old legacy process of due diligence.
What are they looking for?
They’re looking for a product-focused Senior .NET Engineer to join the team and hit the ground running to continue building their flagship LegalTech product as they expand into new markets and continue their growth. You’ll be the 10th member of a team (7 Engineers, 1 Product Manager, and 1 Tech Lead) that focuses on quality, usability, and impact.
This is a chance to be part of building out an impactful product for lawyers and then to a wider set of B2B customers.
What will I be doing?
There’s a lot of greenfield work to be done here so you’ll own the end-to-end design and development of key features of their web application along with the underlying services and infrastructure that support it. You’ll be creating and re-factoring APIs and taking ownership of key technology decisions that lay the groundwork for the company’s growth plans. Though they’re not making a DevOps hire, they’d like someone keen to pick up CI/CD pipelines and IaC.
As you’ll be supported by a cross-functional team, this allows for lots of collaboration across every stage of the development lifecycle you’ll be involved in. From discovery and design, through implementation to deployment and improvement, you’ll be defining user stories, quickly experimenting, and shipping new features along with implementing both functional and non-functional requirements.
You’ll also have a chance to participate in architecture and code reviews to improve the quality, maintainability, security, and scalability of their applications.
How will I get this role?
As well as having a genuine interest in the problem their tackling, they’d like you to have a minimum of 5 years of experience with the .NET Framework (.NET/ CORE/ 6/ WebAPI) and have proven experience delivering large, complex software engineering systems with the flexibility to adjust to customer feedback and then iterate quickly to improve the product.
Experience with IaC and building applications with Docker/K8s/Cloud Native serverless and experience in BDD, TDD, CI/CD is also useful but not essential.
What will I get for this?
They’re offering a salary of up to £90K for this role with matched pension contributions and equity stock options.
They have a flexible working policy where it’s not essential you need to come into their Farringdon office every day however they’d like you to pop in once a week if possible.
