Senior Account Director

A digital product and service design agency.

The client

Highly regarded in the field of UX and Service Design, their team consist of some of the world’s most talented experience designers. Over years of work, they have developed strategic relationships with brands from a variety of sectors including a large number of top 100 brands.

They specialise in Product & Service Design, Interaction & Visual Design, Mobile Design and Front End Development. Providing strategy & planning, design, research and deliver creative technology solutions for a range of highly regarded global brands. They shape product and service ideas, design and launch digital experiences.

The role

As the Senior Account Director, you’ll be working with the Client Engagement team to achieve commercial growth of various accounts which are in line with the overall strategic growth plan.

You’ll be acting as a partner and advisor to clients and the agency team and clients will be determined by experience for this role.

As the Senior Account Director, you’ll build and maintain client relationships through gaining recognition for agency work, spending time on their site and constantly growing your network alongside other responsibilities.

Alongside this, developing commercial growth by opening and driving opportunities within a sales pipeline (approx. £3m p.a.) and keeping the Head of Client Engagement in the loop of this. You’ll also look at and understand client problems and develop proposals with the Delivery Team.

You’ll be working closely with teams during pre-sales processes and have line management of colleagues where applicable.

The candidate

  • Previous experience within a Sales/Account Management role working with digital products and services.
  • You’ll have experience hitting commercial targets, building client relationships and negotiating proposals for the design and build of products and services.
  • You’ll be from a digital agency or consultancy background with a strong understanding of IT delivery and offshore team management.
  • Also, you’ll have solid experience mentoring junior members of teams you have worked with and build a close rapport with clients and other team members.
