The client

Independent mid sized product design agency who have carved out a brilliant reputation in the market specialising in product design & development. Driven by digital innovation, they design and build technology solutions to create new value in new markets. Their core areas are research, user-centered design, organisational design, strategy, creative tech and engineering and work with global household names across a variety of sectors. They work in agile, multi disciplined teams to create next level customer experiences and innovation.

They are currently working with a leading name within the online food tech space who are going through a very exciting phase driven by increasing user functionality and using innovation to future proof the product,

The role

Develop excellent relations with their agencies clients and with their agency partners
Be seen as a leader and trusted advisor in digital strategy, technology delivery, business transformation and customer service
Build deep client relationships and become a critical business partner

Work closely with your Business Director and clients, to lead/participate in, articulate and set clear product and business strategies, objectives and roadmaps

Participate in the development of product strategies off the back of business objectives, complex data structures, research and insights
Develop a deep understanding of the client landscape, including business strategy, data, budgeting and investment, product and delivery

Work closely with the agency and client product teams, and support changes required, and provide ideas and business lead strategies that ensure long term results.
Supporting and advocating best practice product lifecycle methodology
Helping translate the client requirements and external trends in to product strategy

Play an active role in business development, leading proposals and sales presentations

Own operational reporting across your portfolio, including income forecasting, financial reporting, invoicing and financial risk
Participate, in creating annual / quarterly account plans and strategies for developing and growing your portfolio of accounts
Own the detail and be accountable for it, both your own and your teams; through the development of proposals, scopes of work and contracts
Work well under pressure, with a high degree of flexibility and fluidity and have an objective-focused and positive approach

Inspire, collaborate and coach teams to do their best work
Give constructive feedback to all stakeholders

The candidate

  • Will be an experienced AD with an extensive digital agency background who can demonstrate an understanding of user centered product design
  • Has a proven track record of partnering with clients to understand their current and future business needs
  • Is able to consult and provide insight and innovation to allow them to better connect with their customers through digital products and services
  • Has worked with product teams – understands how to develop a product vision, and create an effective product roadmap
  • Is commercially aware and able to seek new opportunities to develop and grow accounts
  • Is confident when it comes to developing and leading client presentations & pitches
  • Is able to manage significant budgets (£2M+)  and is able to demonstrate how to tangibly increase revenue
  • Is a team player with a passion for tech and innovation
  • Is bold, a natural leader and a self starter
