Frontend Developer (Remote)

Energy provider

This green energy supplier are looking for a number of Frontend Engineers to join them to work across various greenfield projects. (Fully remote)

The client

I am currently partnered with a green energy supplier that is looking for a number of Frontend Engineers (Junior-Senior) to join them, they were set up with three goals; to utilize technology to make managing energy easier, offer outstanding customer support, 24/7, and most importantly to offer 100% green electricity.

The role

They’ve got a growing team who specialise in mobile, web and DevOps and you’ll be assisting in building out their platform for their members, as well as embarking on several greenfield projects.

They love to play around with new technologies (every Friday they give you 3 hours to work on a personal or team project unrelated to the business) though at the moment they’ve got a pure JavaScript stack; React, Node, Express, React Native, and GraphQL. They work on GCP as well as making use of other tools including BitBucket, Digital Ocean, Webpack, and Babel.

The candidate

There is huge room for progression within the business as they’re growing so fast, and this is something they’ll actively encourage. It’s a three-stage interview process (initial intro, tech task, tech interview) and they’re keen to move through this quickly. They’re offering up to £65K as well as a range of other benefits.
