An awesome opportunity to work alongside an existing product team for a company who are renowned within their industry and have some of the biggest brands in the world using their SaaS-based platform. If you want to work somewhere dynamic and data-heavy, this is the place for you!

The client

This client have offices worldwide but the product team are all based in London. Their platform is used to by some of the biggest brands and agencies in the world to access huge amounts of data in an easily consumable and strategy-enhancing manner.

The existing Product team has a great blend of UX and UI design experience, headed up by a very supportive and down to earth Creative Director. You’ll be working closely with all of them in a fast-paced yet flexible environment/work structure.

 

The role

The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and simple design, possess superior UX skills and be able to translate high-level requirements into meaningful experiences and, paired with a UI designer, transform them into beautiful, intuitive and functional user interfaces.

Working closely with the Product team, you will take business requirements and audience needs from their large client base and produce IA, concepts, personas, wireframes, prototypes or whatever else is needed.

You will be responsible for creating superb user experiences for their data platform, ensuring all projects are delivered on-time to a very high standard.

You will be deeply committed championing UX and to making sure the work they produce is useable, intuitive and intelligent and be obsessed about details.

You won’t necessarily be client-facing but should have superb communication skills and be able to effectively communicate research findings, conceptual ideas and rationale both verbally and visually.

There will most likely be the opportunity to mentor and help develop more junior team members as well.

The candidate

You will need a proven track record in user-centred design methodology and techniques and the application of these to large sites or platforms. With an amazing understanding of usability and accessibility best practice.

You should have experience leading user research, workshops and concept testing.

They want a designer who can start a project off from ideation, come up with surprising and cool concepts and move them forward into development.

Ideally you will know how to use Sketch as well as being familiar with various prototyping tools and experience in an agile environment.
