Omnichannel UI Prototyping Lead

John Lewis Partnership is looking for an Omnichannel UI Prototyping Lead to lead the team and design prototype digital and physical experiences, testing assumptions about customer behaviour.

The client

They’re currently working on a new ‘Partnership Plan’ which will see the expansion of digital, virtual and delivery services to get close to customers, reaching a profit of £400m by year 5.

They have a pledge to recruit young people coming out of the care system and have major commitments on cutting waste and net-zero carbon.

Being a Partnership for positive change, JLP is improving lives and building a more sustainable future. John Lewis is now a 60% online retailer and Waitrose has upped its online capacity for delivery to over 190,000 weekly slots.

The role

You’ll be an experienced practitioner of all aspects of visual and digital design, across all channels, you will be able to take emerging customer propositions and experiences and turn assumptions into experiments to gather real customer behaviour data.

Alongside this, you’ll act as a leading guardian of the look, feel, branding and usability of our digital and shop experiences, when designing prototype new propositions and services to global standards of excellence. Being a strong creative leader, coach and nurturer, you will use your extensive experience of design techniques, tools and agile approaches, to deliver better customer experiences at pace.
