We’re currently managing a variety of inside IR35 Contract Product Design roles with multiple companies across London/UK. Given Zebra People’s reputation within the field of Product Designers combined with the buoyancy of the market right now, we’ve pretty much always got something interesting on the horizon, especially if you’re at Senior-Lead level. Be it 6 months working on a government project, 3 months working on an app or 2 weeks working on a pitch for an agency, we typically have something for everyone.

One of the key points to consider in this job advert however, is that whilst we cover outside IR35 contracts too, we’re keen to expand our network of contractors willing to consider inside IR35 contracts.

You’ll be expected to have worked on projects end-to-end and will be responsible for the development of new/re development of old products, apps or websites. Even if you have slightly less experience and are more mid-level let me know as we may also have suitable roles available still.

Most of our clients have London-based offices but a lot of the work can be done fully remotely if required – however, you must be at least UK-based.

Some of the Key Skills/Experience required below:

• User Research & User Testing (you don’t necessarily need to have facilitated user research before but able to use it at least)
• Work within a cross functional team, collaborating with other product teams to create solutions that are driven by customer experience but balance technical feasibility
• Create excellent flair driven and technically feasible designs. Prototyping them to life
• Clearly communicate design decisions
• Comfortable presenting or facilitating workshops
• To have designed multiple projects from product inception through delivery and into iterative design, with a strong understanding of UX methodologies
• Previous knowledge of contributing to a design system
• Passionate about researching and validating designs using various user testing techniques
• Excellent usage of tools for design (e.g. Figma, Protopie, Sketch etc)
• A strong portfolio that demonstrates your end-to-end design capability
