Midweight UX Designer

Currently working with a global brand who are looking for a solid Midweight UX Designer to join their team as they work towards consolidating all of their various platforms, to provide one ultimate unified experience for their users.

The client

This client is one of the world’s largest retailers, having been around for decades they are now looking to become digital leaders within the retail space.

The role

This role will involve working in lean agile methodology, with huge collaboration with the development team. You’ll be working alongside UX designers, UI Designers, Marketing and BA’s in areas such as Discovery, Engagement and Conversion.

Your role could involve:

  • Working on the end-to-end UX processes, including personas, user journeys, sketches, wireframes and prototypes
  • Participating in workshops, presentations and sessions to identify business requirements and gain stakeholder buy in
  • Ensuring that all design outputs are consistent with policies across branding and design language
  • Balancing the requirements of the business with the needs of the user

The candidate

The ideal candidate will be ambitious, driven and passionate about all things UX. Experience working with e-Commerce brands that cater to buying products or services via one route would be highly desirable, or experience consolidating platforms. It is key that this person is an excellent communicator, confident articulating their ideas and keen to problem solve, as well as experienced working in lean, agile teams.
