Mid-Senior UX Designer

Design Agency

A great chance for someone at mid/mid-senior level to gain responsibility and move into a Senior position, leading both Planning and Design stages of a project.

The client

This agency is renowned for not only their client work but for growing people within the business. Quite often they will hire people at mid-level and develop them into seniors and leads, organically. If you’re pining for more responsibility, these guys could be a great bet.

The agency are big on digital disruption through UX, Branding and Technology. They’re also particularly hot when it comes to diversity and inclusion 🙂

The role

As a Senior UX Designer you are a key person in their team, leading the design of digital products and services, whilst part of a wider design team, reporting to their Creative Director.

You’ll need to be an experienced UX Designer, confident in working across UX design disciplines and are competent leading both Planning and Design stages of a project.

This includes things like;

● Leading workshops
● Defining user journeys
● Creating system architecture / site maps
● Coordinating and liaise with developers to specify functional requirements
● Articulating UX Concepts
● Detailed interaction design delivered through intelligent wireframes
● Creating prototypes and leading user testing efforts
● Briefing developers on design and product functionality

The candidate

Looking for a Senior UX Designer or a Mid-weight looking to make the jump up.

You’ll be expected to have a decent amount of prior experience as a UX Designer and a nice portfolio to prove it. This really is aimed at more of a pure UX Designer rather than a UI Designer with some UX capabilities. Although background experience in UI is a bonus potentially.

All the usual skills and deliverables will be expected within your experience and capability, from research and testing through to prototyping and wireframing.

They’re not too fussed about what software you like to use most, but if they had to choose it would probably be Sketch or Figma as well as ProtoPie or Invision for prototyping.

You’ll also need to be comfortable dealing with stakeholders as well as taking part in pitches.

If this sounds like you then please send your CV and portfolio ASAP!
