Mid/Senior User Researcher

FinTech Startup

This FinTech startup, that work predominantly within the investment space, are looking for their third User Research hire as they go through an exciting period of growth.

The client

This client has created a platform that allows individuals to take a more proactive role in the world of financial services and investing.

Their goal is to make this space easier, more accessible and fairer for everyone and through their platform, for the first time, everyday retail investors (like you or I) can connect to publicly traded companies raising capital.

As a brand they truly value user-centred design and they see user research as integral to their growth and crucial to them understanding their users.

The role

As the third User Research hire for the brand, you will be coming in and working end-to-end across their exciting digital products. You’ll be really getting to know their varied user bases, gathering and analysing data and making recommendations for the product designers.

There’s a ton of exciting opportunity here in terms of where you can take things, but importantly, you will also receive support from more Senior members of the wider team.

The candidate

The ideal candidate for this role:

  • An interest in the financial world/ the investment space
  • Confident in both qual and quant methodologies
  • A retail background could be pretty beneficial here, the product is very much about attraction, conversion, engagement and retention
  • Someone comfortable coming in and hitting the ground running
  • Someone who won’t be phased by joining a startup going through big and rapid growth
