But why do they need you?

The team

Man power. Simple as that. Transforming businesses into digitally capable brands takes professionals at the top of their game to come in and steer them in the right direction. That is why they’re hiring.

You’ll be joining a UX & Design team of 6 and reporting into the Associate Creative Director working closely with their client partners.

The role

Hands on responsibilities will range from crafting thoughtful, high-quality interaction design from early conception to functional prototypes. You’ll create use cases, user journeys, storyboards, wireframes and page flow diagrams.

More senior responsibilities will include overseeing projects, manage internal and external stakeholders and provide guidance and leadership to less senior members of the team.

Finally, you’ll also take an active interested in the development of the skills of the entire creative department, identifying opportunities to improve processes and tool sets which enables the team to work more collaboratively and effectively.

Example project: This team were the key players in turning Compare the Market from an offline service into the digital service they are now today. They on-boarded numerous UX processes, systems and tools while also helped existing teams to better adapt to the digital world.

The candidate

In this incredibly mature environment, the entire agency are at “Senior” level or higher. Although they are looking for Junior members in 2019, this is a great environment where you can learn from incredibly seasoned individuals while feeling confident those around you know what they’re doing.

Autonomy with clients means you won’t have to check in with your line manager either. You’ll be given plenty of trust to let you do your own thing with advice given when you need it.

Due to the holistic nature of the work, you won’t just be wireframing or prototyping. You’ll also offer thoughtful vision and strategy to your clients making for future-proof projects to include in your portfolio and setting you up for “Head of” or “Director” roles in the future.

Lastly, no line management or mentoring responsibilities initially will also offer you the best opportunity to stay focused and engaged with your clients.

£75,000 – £85,000 base salary
