The client

Our client is a cool consultancy based in Brixton who specialize in making complex things easy. They believe that digital experiences can shape the world when created and made with substance. They are working to create a fresh perspective on day to day problems as well as tackle new challenges with tested methodologies and best practice. They boast some massive clients including both fin tech and healthcare which will not only provide super interesting projects but will look great on your portfolio. They are now looking for a lead level UX designer to come on board… that’s where you come in.

The role

This role will see you leading a team of 3 UX and visual designers and helping this team to double in the next 6 months. You will be taking on existing client relationship and working to grow them on the design front.

Responsibilities will include

  • Help in building the growing UX team
  • Support agile dev teams
  • Work on responsive website/ app to come in future
  • Help to shape the UCD strategy and principles
  • Engage stakeholders across the business and communicate deliverables

The candidate

An ideal candidate would be a pragmatic self-starter who has experience working in a large consultancy and a proven track record of winning new business and growing existing clients.

Key requirements

  • Passionate UX designer with a portfolio showcasing skills
  • Experience working within an agile team
  • strong design experience who is looking to grow into a lead position

  • Comfortable presenting to stakeholders
